Default Newb!?!

First I would like to say: To those of you that read this thread you will know if the shoe fits.

OK I was in the random arenas and I drew a team that consisted of a Ranger, Mesmer, Necro and an Elementalist. No tank and no healer. So we proceed to get our collective butts kicked, no surprise there. Then one of the people on my team proceeds to throw around the term Newb at the rest of us. What is the problem with some people! (rhetorical question there) Do some of you feel the need to exonerate your selves by vain attempts to chastise and degrade others? Anyone in their right mind knows that the chances of winning that match when we we're up against a Warrior, Ranger, Monk and I can't remember the other class, are zero!! I go into another random match and someone lets the term fly again at our team. I find this to be unacceptable! Grow up people! This is just a game! It reminds me of all the children that played D2. That's why I played D2 only with friends or solo. It's probably a big part of the reason that people do not like to party up with others for missions and what not in PVE. I have seen that term used there too btw. You should ALWAYS treat others the way you want to be treated!! Insults towards people you do not know is simply bad manners. I know I stated this is "just a game" but, you can learn a lot about interacting with others if you just treat them the way you want to be treated. I would hope your parents raised you in that fashion. Weather you are 10 or 50+ manners say a lot about the kind of person you are. I just had to get that out of my system. Thanks for taking the time to read this post and I hope something good will come of it.

Take Care Everyone!!

All the better to kick thier arse the next time. My thoughts are that if you this affected by the word "Newb" you better grow a thicker skin. You will be called worse.

Yes it would be nice to have everybody be friendly when they are cracking people over the head with swords, and axes....but people are easily excitable.

If it makes you feel any better I don't play PvP that often and I've been called a newb many times.

yeah, poeple like to throw around that word. to the point its ridiculous i would say. i brought that up here once and compared it to another game. i mentioned i saw someone call grubby a noob in wc3 and then they called me a noob and him a noob too. when you take a certified pro gamer in one of the top clans in the world and people go around screaming "noob" it removes all the bite whatsoever.

They feel so cool when they call you a noob. Especially when they are on the other team waiting for the timer to spawn them in arenas. That person needs to die.

Half the people that play this game are 13 or 14 years old. They have no class, no respect, and no clue.

Um, I don't think we need another "people are rude" thread. There are already the The Biggest Jerk You Ever Encountered in GW and the Is there a GW miss manners? threads.

Closed.

EDIT: Response By NightstalkerXT, although I still prefer he post in the other threads:

Actually the only way it affects me is by virtue of the total lack of disrespect for others, not to mention disrespect for the way they were/are raised by their parents. And yes I have been called worse but I am just wishful in thinking people can be better than that.
